We are all striving to find emotional peace and happiness. So often we feel stuck with feelings of anxiety, depression, and self-defeating thoughts.

As a mental health therapist, I am passionate in helping people overcome obstacles that are preventing them from moving forward and living a well life.  I am mindful that taking the first step to seek counseling, to being vulnerable, can be so difficult. I work hard to create a safe space, empathic and skilled environment to help you reach your therapeutic goals and the desired change that you are seeking.

Your journey is a personal one and the key to greater fulfillment and happiness is doing more of what works and less of what doesn’t. I am focused on helping you find your authentic self. Therapy is never easy, but I admire you for seeking change and hoping for a better quality of life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have worked in the field of social work and as a mental health therapist for the past twenty years. My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, difficult life transitions, such as divorce, PTSD, and trauma. My interests include working with adults, adolescence, couples, and members of the LGBT+ community.

Each person’s life story is different, so my approach is eclectic depending on the issue and person. I incorporate methods most effective with the individual’s experience. The modalities that I often use are TF-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.

I am aware that taking the first step to seek counseling, to being vulnerable, can be so difficult. I work hard to create a safe space, empathic and skilled environment to help you reach your therapeutic goals and the desired change that you are seeking.

It would be an honor to work with you towards your healing and growth.

I work with individuals who have often felt misunderstood or like they’ve had to carry more than their share for a long time. Many of my clients come from marginalized backgrounds or are navigating identity and systems that haven’t always felt safe or supportive. I strive to create a space that is affirming and genuinely human—where you don’t have to explain or minimize your experience to be understood. I welcome clients of all cultures, races, sexual orientations, and gender identities, and I am especially committed to working with those who are looking for a therapist who recognizes lived experience, identity, and trauma.

I have experience working with emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and long-standing patterns that no longer feel helpful. I specialize in grief and loss, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and more difficult mental health experiences. I am comfortable working with depth and complexity, and I don’t shy away from the harder parts of the work.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in relationship. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of your experiences in a way that feels meaningful and empowering. Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about understanding yourself more fully and creating space for something different to emerge.

In my personal life, I enjoy music and playing the drums, the ocean, playing pickleball, and hanging out with my family and our dogs.

I am only seeing clients through Telehealth at this time.
